We Believe...

  • In the Divine inspiration of the accepted canon of scripture as originally given. The scriptures are infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct in life.   2 Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13

  • In the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as One God existing in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - indivisible but invisible.  Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:1

  • In the LORD Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, fully God and fully man.  Romans 1:3-4, Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26

  • Jesus Christ was crucified and shed his blood for the sins of the world; He was buried and arose bodily from the dead, personally appeared unto his disciples after his resurrection, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, and will return for his bride, the Body of Christ.   Romans 4:25; I Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

  • In the salvation of sinners by grace, through faith in the LORD Jesus Christ, repentance, and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. Ephesians 2:9; Hebrews 9; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 1:18

  • In the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in this baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ.  Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-36 and 19:1-6

  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience and evidence of salvation. This same Spirit endows every believer with power, gifts, and fruit for effective prayer and witness in and through the believer. Galatians 3:14-15; Acts chapter 2 and 8:14

  • In the operations of the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit in and through the believer as enumerated in scripture and manifested in the early Church. 1 Corinthians chapters 12 and 13; Galatians 5:22-23

  • In the Spirit-filled life of separation from the world and the perfecting of holiness and righteousness in the fear of God as an expression of the true Christian faith. Ephesians 5:18; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1

  • In the Divine healing power of the Holy Spirit in the spirit, soul and body of all men. Acts 4:30; Romans 8:11; James 5:14; 1 Corinthians 12:9

  • In the Lord's Supper (communion) for believers.  1 Corinthians 11:28-32; Matthew 26:26-28; Acts chapter 27

  • We acknowledge the reality of Satan and fallen angels and their eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire.  Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:12-15

  • In eternal life for believers and eternal judgment for unbelievers.  John 5:24, 3:16; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15

  • In the five-fold ministry as the governmental authority within the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12; Acts 14:23, 15:2-6, 16:4

  • In one universal Church consisting of all believers. That the church is the composition of many churches in many localities, all being under the sovereign headship of the LORD Jesus Christ. Acts 15:22; Matthew 16:18 and 18:15-20

  • In the restoration of the apostolic and prophetic offices in the fullness of power and authority; these offices being vital to and necessary for the proper and effective functioning of the Church of Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior.

  • In the Body of Christ as instrumental in establishing and propagating the Kingdom of God until the return of Christ, to begin His reign upon and over the whole earth.

  • Discipline in the church as outlined by scripture as necessary, however, must be done in a spirit of meekness and confidentiality with the ultimate purpose of restoration and purification.
